Our friends at Theatre and Dance at Wayne continue their season with the bold and thought-provoking Paradise Lost by Erin Shields, directed by Laura Quigley.
This striking reimagining of John Milton’s epic poem brings a contemporary edge to a timeless story. After being cast out of Heaven, Satan sets out on a path of revenge - tempting humanity and igniting a cosmic clash between free will and divine authority. Through sharp wit, modern feminist perspective, and rich, evocative language, Paradise Lost challenges what we think we know about good, evil, power, and rebellion.
