Well y’all are getting even closer…… 724 shares on the original post, I’m kind of shocked it’s gotten this far in just a full weeks time, y’all must really want this to return.. I had no idea, we’d be THIS CLOSE to having to SET A DATE! Just hope that IF we do move forward with Project JDHB BARN PARTY 2024 the turnout is as great as the Facebook share response has been! 😉 Only 276 more shares to go!!

Not going to lie, I may be getting a little anxious, palms a bit clammy…..over 1/2 way there, y’all may just pull this off…. I think it’s time we officially activate the page again, go check it out and get this page brought back to life share memories pictures; fondest memories, recommendations, likes, dislikes. With much contemplation, due to the weather this summer and the amount of hard work that goes into the event from family and staff along with continued requests for the Barn Party to be held during COOLER months along with some booking conflicts we have decided to reschedule the 9th Annual John D. Hale Band Barn Party. We did not come to this decision lightly and we greatly apologize for any inconvenience this has caused anyone, but for the sake of our event and the fans as well the staff this is what we have to do for the longevity and future of the event. As soon as we have a rescheduled date we will post it immediately! If you want to be added to our email list and get updates that way please message us your email address and you will be added. Again we apologize and sincerely appreciate everyone's support of the event thus far as well as continued support in the future!

We want to send our thoughts and prayers out to Lowell Cassinger and his very young daughter Lowell worked as part of the Barn Party Security staff in the past and did an amazing job and is a heck of a good guy! His wife Ashley passed away yesterday. Our BP staff is like our extended family, our hearts are hurting for him, his daughter and Ashley's family, please say an extra prayer for them, she left this world too early! Lowell your Barn Party family is here for you, if you need anything!

Dave used to look forward to the barn party every year!

Three years today the world lost a man that worked his entire life building The 5-H Ranch having fun enjoying his family, friends & animals. The love and joy that Dave Hale had for his wife, kids, grandkids & animals is that like I've never seen before. He laughed in everything he did & I do mean everything! He could find humor in all things! He left a legacy behind that we will never ever forget. Not a day goes by that I don't hear some of Dave's wise words in my head. Nothing was impossible for him, nothing to great or to small for him to achieve, he was a supporter of all ideas, even if he thought they were ridiculous ideas he never would tell you that he would just say, "I'm ready lets get it done". So today we honor a great man that left his family with lifetimes full of great memories and knowledge who also left his mark on the camel and exotic animal business forever. We miss and love you Dave!
