We may be closing, but we'll never miss a beat!

Salsa MS established its home in Fondren in 2008. First on Mitchell Avenue and then for 10+ years on Duling Avenue. We love our Fondren community and will always be so grateful for the amazing people that we met through our time there. Salsa MS has always been more than a business. For us it has truly been a family and community that not only danced together but also learned, laughed, served, traveled and even grieved together. Recently we had to make the difficult decision to close the studio. We wanted to take this opportunity to let all of you know and also to share some of our best memories. We will be posting some pictures and videos from our past events. If you have some, please share too!

The rhythms of Salsa will never leave our hearts. Hopefully we will see you all on the dance floor again soon.

We are going to keep this FB group active so we can communicate with you all about any possible future plans or events. Let's stay connected.

The well being of our students and dancers is of upmost importance to us. Because of this, we want to take all precautions and measures to ensure our students stay healthy. Over the next few weeks we will be changing the structure of our classes.

- Salsa Saturday parties will be cancelled until further notice.

- We will continue our free Salsa lessons on Saturdays from 9-10pm.

- The studio will remain open for regular scheduled classes. However, Salsa and Bachata lessons will be strictly foot work and will not involve partner work.

Our staff and students are being encouraged to stay home if they are not feeling well. The studio is being continuously cleaned and sanitized to ensure the health and well being of everyone who enters. We will continue to monitor the situation and take all necessary steps. We are hopeful that the spread of the virus will end soon.

We hope to see you for classes in the coming weeks. Stay healthy and stay dancing!

What's happening this week at Salsa Mississippi Club and Studio!? Join us every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday for Zumba ($5 per class). Learn some Salsa every Tuesday and Wednesday. Get your Bachata every Wednesday and party with us till 2am every Saturday (with a free lesson from 9-10pm). Will we see you this week?
