“All the days of Saul there was bitter war with the Philistines, and whenever Saul saw a mighty or brave man, he took him into his service.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭14‬:‭52‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The first thought I had when reading this passage today was in comparison of those whom God calls today. I’m so very thankful that God does not only seek after the mighty and brave.

From the book of Zachariah it was spoken, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.”

It is the Mighty One who leads us by His Spirit, and in doing, so, we are given power, authority, and all of the fruit of the Spirit, including self-control and love.

Understanding this truth, dismantles insufficiencies, inadequacies, and insecurities.
Understanding this truth, disables our pride, ego, and self reliance.

Although the wars are different today, we still are confronted on battle grounds.
The battle is the Lord’s.
We are His collected and called, equipped through His Spirit.
The victory is never ours alone.
For if we seemingly win from our own power and might, that is far from any true and lasting victory.

Victory is ours - (God and us) as we keep with His Spirit.

Dancer! Walk the path in which God directs, stand firm in joy and dance with all of what God has placed in you!

Costa Rica Here I Come!
I am writing to share with you that I am traveling to teach, speak, and minister in Costa Rica and would appreciate your support and partnership.

Feet Speak Dance (FSD) is under the direction of Cynthia Newland, a long-time dance professional who has led numerous global missions, dance, and educational tours to Asia, Europe, the UK, and Australia. Feet Speak Dance was founded in the early 2000’s with the aim of educating, training, presenting, and sharing dance with a variety of audiences, inspiring souls, and offering hope, joy, and the love of God through the art form of dance. The missional verse of FSD is Isaiah 52:7, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!”
Feet Speak Dance is partnering with some wonderful ministries and dance organizations and has been invited to train, teach, speak, and dance in San Jose, Costa Rica.

May 19th - Depart
May 20th and May 23rd - Ballet Magnificat of Costa Rica workshops for dance students, professionals, and educators. (Biblical Principles of Worship, Faith and the Arts, and Modern Dance Technique)
May 21st - Ministry at Local Church
May 22nd – May 26th YWAM Costa Rica Guest Instructor at the School of Dance (Lecturing Biblical Principles on Wholly Spirited and Ministry Development, Modern Dance Technique, and Choreography)
May 27th – Community Workshop – Foundational Formations of Creativity, Artistry and Health for dance professionals and educators.
May 28th - Ministry at Local Church
May 29th Return
