Colour Revolt is an indie rock band formed in Oxford, Mississippi in 2003, whose music channels the spirit of Southern gothic through haunting melodies, emotional intensity, and stark lyrical imagery. The group emerged in the mid-2000s with a self-titled EP that quickly earned critical attention for its intensity and lyrical depth. Their debut album, Plunder, Beg and Curse (2008) and sophomore release The Cradle (2010), showcased a dynamic range that moved between quiet vulnerability and explosive instrumentation. Through relentless touring and a fiercely passionate live presence, Colour Revolt cultivated a devoted fan base and became a respected voice in the Southern indie rock scene. In 2014, after a decade of constant activity, the band entered an indefinite hiatus. That hiatus is over. Long live Colour Revolt.

Singer/songwriter Grace Gunn, as her name implies, is a walking contradiction. With Mississippi roots and LA street smarts, vocals that are sensitive and soulful, rangy and powerful all at the the same, this brunette beauty is creating quite a stir in Nashville, Tn. With musical influences that run the gamut from Sheryl Crow and Paramore, to Martina McBride and the Dixie Chicks, she is that rare singer, a ‘velvet belter’, who can keep a warm, smooth tone even at the top of her vocal range.

Her dynamic song-writing draws from the fire and grit of Rock and R&B, as well as the deep well of story telling’ found in Nashville and Southern California. In a familiar irony, Grace Gunn, had to move to Nashville to find her voice, not as a Country singer, Rock singer, or Pop/R&B singer, but all of the above, a new breed of genre-bending American Artist with unlimited potential.
