🌈 Meet the Artist: Beth Fuller! 🎨☂️

We've welcomed some new artists to Art in the Village, and we're excited to introduce you to each of them this week just in time for the festival next Saturday!

First up is Beth Fuller, and she's brought a whole lot of COLOR to the gallery! 🌈

Beth creates beautiful hand-painted parasols bursting with bright colors and playful patterns. But here's what makes them even more interesting—she uses UV-reactive paints that respond to ultraviolet light! ☀️

From bold geometric designs to cheerful florals and swirling bursts of color, each parasol is a unique work of art.

Imagine one of these colorful creations adding a little personality to your porch, patio, or garden. They're definitely conversation starters!

We're delighted to have Beth as part of our Art in the Village family, and we can't wait for you to see her work!

Back in June, Ms. Carrie visited Art in the Village and fell in love with a particular painting—Bridge over the Tiber by Kate Brooks.

She couldn't get it out of her mind, so she gave us a call to ask about it.

The painting was no longer at the gallery, but we reached out to Kate, and guess what? She still had it!

Now, Bridge over the Tiber is carefully wrapped and ready to make its way to its new home with Ms. Carrie. ❤️

We love being part of moments like this—connecting people with artwork that speaks to them.

Thank you, Ms. Carrie, for supporting a local artist and giving this beautiful painting a place in your home!

Watch them work. Ask questions. Meet the people behind the art. And discover just how much thought, skill, and personality goes into something made by hand.

If you’ve ever looked at a piece of art and wondered, “How did they do that?”—this is your chance to find out.

Still our youngest collector of the year so far. 💛

He came in, spotted this train card, and knew immediately — “My grandmother would love this.”

No hesitation. No overthinking. Just a little heart choosing something special.

This is why we do what we do.

Art doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s a simple card, chosen with love, that carries the most weight.

Wish we could see Grandma open this one. 🚂💌

**100 feet of mural—and Mary is just getting started. 🎨**

We’ve got another progress peek at the bridge mural Mary is working on, and boy is it BIG: **5 feet tall and 100 feet long.**

From the first sketched lines of the eagle to the layers of feathers, color and tiny details that bring it to life, it’s fascinating to watch her process. And now there’s a rather charming raccoon joining the scene, too. 🦝

There’s still plenty of blank space waiting for Mary’s brush, so we’ll keep sharing the transformation as it unfolds.
