She’s a veterinarian, so when these cards caught her eye, there really wasn’t much deciding to do. 🐴 They spoke her language—and they left the gallery with her.

That’s one of our favorite things about being here: watching someone discover a piece of art that connects with a part of their life, their work, or simply something they love.

One of the joys of being a gallery along the way is never knowing who might walk through our doors.

This lovely visitor from Italy stopped in while passing through Jackson, described Art in the Village as “delightful,” and found several of Linda McBride’s charming animal pieces to take home with her.

We love knowing that art created here in our community will now be enjoyed thousands of miles away.

That’s one of our favorite things about art: you don’t have to know exactly what you’re looking for. Sometimes you simply see something that makes you smile—and that’s enough.

She didn’t expect to find her mother here in travels.....

But when she saw this small painting by Lisa Kersey—tiny birds nestled in snow—It brought tears to her eyes.

“This reminds me of my mom,” she said quietly. “She always fed the birds outside her big picture window & watched them on the feeders as she drank her coffee." She stood for a time, lost in thought while looking at the painting in her hands....ultimately deciding to buy it.

"I’m going to hang it in my reading nook, so I can see it every day. Mom would approve.” she said with a smile as it was wrapped up.

This delicate winter painting by Lisa Kersey has found its new home, flying away to North Carolina—where it’ll continue telling its story, one quiet moment at a time.

We love seeing where these pieces land, and how they become part of someone’s life. It’s why we do what we do.

🌿 **There’s always something special about meeting the people behind the art.**

Today, the dynamic duo, Anna & Chris Holmes are manning the gallery at Art in the Village from 10–2, and we’d love for you to stop by and meet them.

Come wander through the gallery, see their work up close, and ask about the places, moments, and ideas that inspired the pieces you’re drawn to.

You don’t have to know anything about art to enjoy it—or to choose something for your home. Sometimes you simply see a piece, hear its story, and realize, *I could live with that.* ❤️

Same painting. Same room. Two completely different feelings. 🎨

This sunset painting by our featured artist Lisa Kersey is a perfect example of how much a frame can change the way you experience a piece of art.

🖤 The dark frame gives the painting more definition and drama. It pulls your eye toward those glowing yellows and oranges and makes the deeper colors feel richer.

🤍 The white frame feels lighter and airier. Against a neutral wall, it lets the painting’s color take center stage and gives the whole space a softer, more contemporary feel.

It's amazing what happens when you change just one piece of art.

The furniture doesn't move.
The colors on the walls stay the same. But the entire personality of the room changes.

This little bird has officially flown the nest. 🐦✨

This vibrant watercolor by Linda McBride found its forever home — and we couldn’t be happier for the collector who snapped it up. There’s something about the soft ripple of water, the brilliant blue feathers, and that pop of greenery that just makes you pause and smile.

🐦 One already flew out the door!

Giley Wright just restocked his adorable hand-turned birdhouse ornaments at Art in the Village, and one has already found a new home.

A sweet couple visiting West Tennessee stopped by the gallery and chose one as a keepsake from their trip. Now this tiny birdhouse is heading home with them to East Tennessee. ❤️

That’s one of our favorite things about handmade art—the piece you take home carries a story with it. A place you visited. A person you met. A memory you want to keep.

Giley’s birdhouses are back in the gallery now, each with its own personality and handcrafted details. Come take a peek before a few more fly away. 🐦
