Bixby has left the lawn. 💗

Moving a sculpture this size takes serious muscle and a forklift, and showed up with both. Huge thanks to the whole New West crew for helping us send Bixby off safely.

An extra big shoutout to crew lead Alex Haas , who gave up most of a Wednesday to help with the forklift and make sure our big pink friend made it onto the truck in one piece.

We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for showing up for the arts in Jackson! 🙌

Today we're celebrating Ron Gessler, our Facilities Maintenance Director for the past 11 years, as he transitions towards retirement.

Ron has been a fixture of The Center for the last decade. He's been the go-to problem solver for over 78,000 square feet and three stories of The Center campus. He's accomplished so much – often unseen by the public – to keep our facilities safe, comfortable, and accessible.
