What was your last experience at The Center? 🟢

Whether you paid a visit to The Center Park, went to a class or workshop with a Resident Organization, or saw a show in The Center Theater, you enjoyed the work that our facilities team, Ron and Sean, do to keep our space safe, operational and comfortable!

The Center comprises a 78,000 square-foot indoor campus, combined with a 62,000 square-foot outdoor park – the building hosts a complex ecosystem of Resident Organizations, art galleries, a state-of-the-art performance venue, and community spaces for rent.

Meet the team that keeps it all afloat. 🏤

Over the next month, we'll be diving into the work that our facilities team Ron and Sean (and now, our new Facilities Director, Tim Morris) do to maintain The Center!

3. 🎷 Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Presented by The Center, At a moment when musical streams are crossing with unprecedented frequency, it’s crucial to remember that throughout its history, New Orleans has been the point at which sounds and cultures from around the world converge, mingle, and resurface, transformed by the Crescent City’s inimitable spirit and joie de vivre. Nowhere is that idea more vividly embodied than in the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, which has held the torch of New Orleans music aloft for more than 65 years, all the while carrying it enthusiastically forward as

POV: you’re walking into a night at The Center

A guarantee for a good night ✨

You grab your ticket, step through those doors, and there’s already a buzz in the lobby, that little flutter of excitement before a show starts. You find your seat, settle in, and then it happens: the lights drop and the whole room shifts. Everyone leans forward at the same time. That first hit of sound rolls through and suddenly you’re not just watching a show, you’re part of it.

Strangers turn into your people for the night. You’re all locked into the same moment, the same song, the same feeling. That’s the magic of catching live music in a theater like this, it’s intimate, it’s loud in all the right ways, and it stays with you long after you walk back out those doors.

This one, we got to catch Saint Paul & The Broken Bones putting on a show we won’t forget 🎶

Take a peek at the calendar and get a night on the books!

See you at The Center soon 🟢

Resident Highlight: MusicLand

Since 2019, MusicLand has been bringing the gift of music to kids across Teton County! From All-State orchestra placements to recitals, concerts, and community performances, MusicLand’s students are making beautiful music (and memories) all year long. 🎼

Up next from MusicLand:
🎹 New Family Registration | Saturday, August 15th - Monday, August 31st

You can register today for Music Together classes for little ones or private and group instruction in violin, viola, cello and piano. The Suzuki Program combines weekly private lessons with small group classes, building musical skills through listening, practice, and performance.

More advanced students can join the Jackson Hole Youth Orchestra (JHYO) for rehearsals, section work, and opportunities to perform alongside professional musicians.

Whether students are picking up an instrument for the first time or ready to take their playing further, MusicLand offers a supportive place to grow as a musician.
