Congratulations to Ms. Valerie Bremer on receiving the Reuel A. Kohlwey Memorial Service Award at Yesterday’s Graduation!

Since 2014, Valerie has faithfully accompanied our concerts, played piano for our Musical Pit Orchestras, and worked with countless students as an accompanist for Solo & Ensemble. She has also been an incredible leader in our community through leading worship and sharing her musical gifts in so many ways.

Her dedication, talent, and servant-hearted commitment have made a tremendous impact on our students and our music department. Simply put, our music program would not be the same without her.

Thank you, Valerie, for the countless hours you have invested in our students, our concerts, musicals, worship services, and school community. This recognition is a well-deserved honor, and we are grateful for all you do.

The Reuel A. Kohlwey Memorial Service Award is given in recognition of tireless and selfless sacrifice of time, talents, and treasures given in service to Living Word Lutheran High School. The Honor is awarded to the individual or individuals who embody the spirit of service and selfless dedication to Christian education.

In April, 4 of our Living Word Drama students participated in a local Christian High School Theatre Competition. Students who attended represented multiple high schools (Living Word Lutheran, St. Augustine Prep, and Lake Country Lutheran) and 3 distinct home school high school groups.
They all did a fantastic job and two of our LW students placed for their monologue performances-

Judges' Award- Kiera Timothy

They then had the opportunity to bond throughout the day with the rest of the schools by attending workshops, enjoyed a production of Twelfth Night (CUW Theatre production several LW alumni were cast in), and even had the chance to work with Fish Sticks Comedy, a local Improv group. The day finished out with dinner and a music concert.
Living Word Drama hopes to continue to offer our students more opportunities for involvement in theatre activities throughout the year and continue to grow our fellowship and talents God has so richly blessed us with! Way to go Theatre T-Wolves!

Yay Amelia!!!

We will be recognizing a Living Word student each month during this school year with the “T-Wolf Student of the Month” award.

The goal of this award is to recognize students who strive to live the “Living Word Way”, and recognize those students that are great examples for our student body in any/all of the following areas: Character, Behavior, Citizenship, Leadership, School Pride, and Relationships with others.

The Living Word “T-Wolf Student of the Month” for the month of April is Amelia Young.

Amelia is an outstanding example of what it means to be a T-Wolf. She consistently goes above and beyond in everything she does, demonstrating dedication, positivity, and a strong work ethic. No matter the situation, she makes a genuine effort to bring out the best in it—and in the people around her. Over the past few years, Amelia has also proven herself to be an incredible leader. She cares about the success of others, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her attitude is both uplifting and motivating, and she leads by example through her actions every day. Amelia doesn’t just meet expectations; she exceeds them, all while encouraging others to do the same. Her commitment to excellence, her leadership, and her ability to turn challenges into opportunities truly set her apart.

Big things happening in Living Word Performing Arts Program… 🎶

Back in early March, 12 of our students competed at the WSMA District Solo & Ensemble — and 7 are moving on to State! Over the next two weekends, they’ll be performing at UW–Milwaukee and Carroll University.

We’re proud of the time, discipline, and heart these students have put into their music. It shows. And even more than that, we love seeing them use their gifts to glorify Christ.
