Raising money for something near and dear to our hearts as well as another local family now facing this battle πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

*Fundraiser / Giveaway*

Thank you so much to everyone who has trusted us with their properties throughout the 2023 season. We have grown this year exponentially & are looking forward to the 2024 season. We will be taking a break from our regular social media posts for the holidays & will resume our online presence in early 2024.

We are taking this opportunity of down time & using our platform to raise money for the Jimmy Fund clinic in Boston which helps families all over the world fight childhood cancer. We will be splitting all raised proceeds between the clinic & a local family that has recently found out they will be walking the path of pediatric cancer.

Childhood cancer is a very challenging journey with many different outcomes. It stops life in its tracks & leaves lasting effects on families for years after treatment.
Because of our own personal battle with liver cancer with our 2 year old son, Greyson (who is now healthy & 16 months in remission) we are heartbroken every time we hear that another child has to go through this daunting life event. Raising money is a very big help with the many unexpected expenses that these families have to bear.

All proceeds going to Jimmy Fund will be matched DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR! This money will be used towards supplies & research for new drugs & treatments for children fighting for their lives. The local family will be given a check directly.

So what’s in it for you besides helping kids beat cancer?

A free professional Spring cleaning service done by us over here at New Leaf Property Maintenance. This will be our first draw. The service is good for the 2024 season - will cover leaf & yard debris clean up, shrub trimming, & first lawn mowing up to 1 acre - or any service up to $750.00 value.
You may gift this service or use it on your own property. Property must be within 30 mile radius of Athol Ma.

Second draw will be a gift basket filled with homemade treats & baked goods & New Leaf gear.

We especially hope to be able to give these donations during this time of year where families wish to be home & as far away from illness as possible.

$25 minimum entry fee - any amount donated will result in one entry per person.
Please feel free to donate as much as you would like.
We will do the drawing on Christmas Eve.
All payments can be sent directly to me via Venmo at: Tyler-Leblanc-96169.
Anyone who makes any payment please contact me directly to confirm & make sure your name & entry are accounted for.
I will post updates with amounts raised up until the day of the drawing.

PLEASE LIKE & SHARE THIS POST!
Let’s see how much we can raise for these kids!

Thank you for your continued support in all ways. We wish you the most peaceful holiday season possible.

Today makes 1 year since we were told by doctor S that Greyson was officially in remission.
The day after your 3rd bday, the best gift we could have hoped for.

We learned more so to take the "little things" in stride. We concentrate on positive energy and the beauty that surrounds us.
We rush less, laugh more, and live with greater intensity.
Our focus shifts. Material things become less important, and the people in our lives become more dear. We become more appreciative of the special moments we share with the people we love.
We have a deeper understanding of how quickly the years pass, so we try to get as much as we can out of every day. The last 2 years have seemed to fly by.
We find joy in his little face and embrace each day with love. While continuing to help him move forward through the continued struggles he has. And when the worid is still around us. we have a chance to reflect upon our lives and look towards the future... with optimism, hope and courage...
He is a cancer survivor and the strongest little warrior πŸ™πŸ’šπŸ™
Still can’t believe you turned 4 yesterday this year is going to be amazing! πŸ™
We love you beyond words.

We said good bye to the gorgeous white mountains and Nordic village yesterday. Safe to say Graces make a wish trip was everything we could have wished for and more (even with the rain). The 3.5 almost 4 hour trip was 100% worth it.
These are some of our favorite places we went:
Nordic village resort (highly recommend)
Exile burritos (sooo yummy)
Red fox bar and grille (super close to the resort and food was amazing)
North Country Bowling Center (great laid back family fun)
Santa’s village (perfect for little kiddos)
Story Land ( absolutely love)
Living Shores aquarium (small but super cute)

Good bye for now and we will definitely be back to explore more!
Thank you to make a wish for making this trip possible πŸ™πŸ’šπŸ™ I didn’t realize just how much our family needed this getaway after the last year πŸ₯°πŸ™

And while we couldn’t take everyone with us we were thankful to have Auntie and Mimi join us for graces make a wish trip. Family memories we will all have for a life time (pictures to prove it πŸ₯°πŸ€£)

Our last full day yesterday was spent going to the cute little aquarium a few mins from our resort. They had a sting ray petting tank and these awesome but very strange feeling touch tank with these little black sucker type fish that would come over and mouth your hand haha

The rest of the afternoon was spent in 1 of the 3 family pools we had access to at the resort.

Mommy and Daddy also had a little bit do solo time going out to dinner and a nice stroll through a cute town followed by some ping pong play and sitting by a nice evening fire.

Until this vacation I never had truly realized how little we have done and explored with our littles. The meaning β€œCovid kid” now sits in my mind in a whole different light. Between Covid, being pregnant with Hailey during the pandemic and then Graces cancer diagnoses (6mnths treatment and another 6 months on antibiotics because he was so immune compromised from chemo) we stayed home a majority of the time. Seeing him blossom the way he has and his want to play with other kids as well as interact with them and the growing confidence that we saw over the first couple days was truly heart melting.
So thankful for this trip as we all truly needed it πŸ’šπŸ™πŸ’š

Greyson is having a great time, exploring and experiencing so many new things. He had the absolute best day at the little amusement park yesterday (rain and all) and enjoyed bowling today (still dodging rain drops haha).

Today we celebrate 2 things. One being a yr since Greyson had a 10.5 hr long surgery to remove his cancerous tumor and the second celebrating his daddy’s birthday πŸ’šπŸ™πŸ’š last yr looked so beyond different then this yr. I caught myslelf flooding off and on with emotion today with just how truly thankful I am to be able to do the things we have done with him the last couple of days and to be able to watch him grow and blossom into this amazing little man.

I received some awesome play with chalk art despite the rain πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ thank you to everyone who reached out and to those who shared photos today. Tomorrow is our 2nd play with chalk date and I can’t wait to show grace more works of art πŸ’š

We did our first survivors walk with Greyson today at the Relay for Life in Gardner πŸ™

I teared up taking in how many other purple shirts were around us, and the thought of the amount of people you could walk by in your own community and have no idea they faced this battle.

Other survivors told me their heart felt stories, and a gentle touch on my shoulder during one of them saying it will all be ok and not to worry life away truly hit a spot within my soul today. Seeing others tear up as we made the first walk around made me tear up even more. πŸ’šπŸ™πŸ’š

We walked with 2 survivors in our family today. Both who faced this battle and won. Blessed to be able to do this with Greyson and his Great Uncle Jamie. Both survivors and the strongest people I knowπŸ™
