On behalf of everyone at team Yardsaleapalooza, THANK you all for coming out for Yardsaleapalooza : Autumn Edition 2026 (Featuring Junk or Treat)! It was SUCH a gorgeous day, and it was great to see the kids in costume, the happy customers, and of course - our loyal and amazing vendors!
We know that some of you had phenonmeal selling days, some did ok, and some may not have done as well as you would have hoped - - - above all else, we really hope you all just ENJOYED the day. We have worked hard to build a community of incredible vendors and shoppers, and that was once again on display yesterday! So many smiling faces, a LOT of bags being carried around filled with the treasures people had picked up, and just an overall sense of warmth (figuratively and literally once the sun came out lol).
We did want to comment on one *small* thing that was brought up to us by SEVEN different people (3 vendors, and 4 customers), about a certain vendor being rude, overbearing, obnoxious, and overall a real *pain* for the atmosphere we try to create. Make no mistake, Yardsaleapalooza is NOT a place that encourages, or tolerates aggressive behavior or rudeness, and we had the conversation yesterday at closing to thank the vendor for their commitment to being a part of the show, but that their services are no longer welcomed at ANY of our future events. Anyone who has ever been to any of our shows KNOWS that we encourage a light-hearted, open, warm, and FUN environment, and this particular vendor went against our general philosophy in business, and honestly, in life!
So that's that, and we are looking forward to seeing you all again soon! For those who love crafts / gifts / anything we do in general, JOLLYPALOOZA will be coming on December 20th. We know that's later than we normally do it, but our friends at the Commonwealth Commerce Center thought it would be a wise idea to basically make the exact same show as us (a "holiday sip and shop" as it is called), on Black Friday weekend, and we want everyone to know that we are NOT involved with that show whatsoever - so we are doing our show REALLY close to Christmas to AVOID ANY CONFUSION.
So Jollypalooza will be Sunday, December 20th - for those that like Christmas stuff/crafts/gifts, etc. - and we are HOPING amongst hope that we will be able to host a WINTER EDITION of Yardsaleapalooza at the Michigan Sports Facility in late February/early March - - -otherwise the next time we will do a tradtiional Palooza event will be in the Spring!
Thank you to ALL of the vendors AND shoppers who came out yesterday! We value you all SO MUCH! Have a great Halloween season, and we will talk to you all soon enough!
