✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨Juliette Skvarenina, a four year club member will be majoring in Communications and Minoring in Theatre Arts at Rollins College in Winterpark, Florida. Outside of JMHS Drama Club she interned The Sound Garden, was Drama Club President, Tri-M President, Jackson Jaguar Band 4 years, Front Ensemble Section Leader, Girl Scout for 13 years, WOBM Student of the Week, JMHS Student of the Month, Student Council, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, ASL Club, Jaguar Buddies, NAHS, World Language Club, Interact Club, and School Announcer. Her Credits included:Puffs (ensemble), Big Fish(featured dancer ensemble) , Scrooge (urchin #1 and dance captain), Spongebob ( electric skate #3, sardine #1, screaming krabby patty, and dance captain) Clue (ms. scarlett) , Mary Poppins (mrs. brill and dance captain) , Mean Girls (gretchen wieners and dance captain), Shrek ( pinocchio, three blind mice, and dance captain). Her favorite show was Spongebob, as a dancer first this musical offered so many different styles of dancing from hip hop to jazz to tap. Her favorite memory was Tech week!! Whether it was getting ready with the girls in the bathroom, playing mario kart in the guys dressing room, or even just spending so much time together in one week, tech week never failed to bring so much happiness.Juliette would like to thank all her amazing friends and family for supporting her throughout her jagsstageplayers experience. A special thank you to Mrs Cori Larsen, her parents, her sister, and her best friend.

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨Beatrix Morrell, a four year drama club member will be attending Rutgers University for the Four Year Nursing Program. Credits include Puffs (ensemble), Scrooge (ghost of Christmas past/urchin), Clue (unexpected cop), Mary Poppins (Valentine/Featured dancer), Mean Girls jr (Janis) and Shrek (Donkey). Outside of Drama, Bea has taken part in wrestling, golf, was a Key Club Officer, NHS officer, and was a member of Science Honor Society and Social Studied Honor Society. She held leadership in drama club this year as student coordinator and got to direct scenes in each show. Her favorite production was Scrooge. Her favorite memory was dancing during intermission of Mary Poppins backstage. Her final message is that “ I’m incredibly grateful for the past four years I’ve spent as part of this club. I’ve learned so much from so many amazing people, made lifelong friends, and will truly miss being a part of it.”

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨Virginia Alvarez is a four year member who will be attending Marist University majoring in Psychology. Her credits include Puffs (Prop Crew), Scrooge (Urchin 3), Spongebob (Featured Dancer), Clue (Backup Cop and Newscaster), Mary Poppins (Statue, Featured Dancer), Mean Girls jr(Sonia, Grace, Marymount 3), Shrek (White Rabbit, Pied Piper, Featured Dancer). Outside of JMHS Drama, Virginia enjoyed Summers at Black Bear Camp as Stage Manager for their Camp Shows and was team captain at Diamond Dance Academy. She was the Senior points secretary(NHS), Public Relations Officer(NAHS). Virginia’s Honor Societies included National Honor Society, Social Studies National Honor society, National Art Honor society, science National honor society, International thespian society (VP). Her favorite production was Scrooge and her favorite memory was getting to learn the Broadway Spongebob choreography from Gavin Lee. She would like to say thank you to all of my amazing friends who make this program what it is; I am very grateful for each and every one of you!

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨Abigail Golonka, a four year member who will be attending West Chester University. Her credits include Big fish (Featured Dancer), Clue (Singing Telegram), SpongeBob (Featured Dancer), Scrooge (Ensemble), Mean Girls (Mrs. George), Mary Poppins (Annie & Dancer), Shrek (The Witch and featured dancer). Outside of Drama, Abby was part of Band for 4 years as Woodwind Coordinator, NAHS, JAA, and Tri-M. Her favorite show was SpongeBob. Her favorite memory was every tech week hanging out with friends and blasting music in the dressing room.

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨Sarah Cooper, a four year member will be Attending the University of Findlay double majoring in forensic biology and equine studies. Her credits include Big fish (ensemble), Scrooge (woman 1, Choir), SpongeBob (ensemble), Clue (Motorist), Shrek (Guard, Little Bo Peep, Choir). Outside of drama, Sarah was part of Jackson Jaguar Band, Color Guard, 3 years, Captain, Choir, 4 years, Choir President, ITS, NAHS, TRI-M, SSNHS and SNHS. Her favorite show was Clue. And her favorite part of drama was meeting some of her closest friends. Thank you to everyone who is involved in drama club, especially Mrs. Larsen for making every show so magical for us all

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨Scarlette Harris, is a four year drama club member who will be attending Rowan University to study Music Composition. Credits include Big Fish asEnsemble, Scrooge as Fezziwig and Ensemble, Spongebob as Ensemble, Mary Poppins as Ensemble, Mean Girls as Ensemble, and Shrek as Ensemble. Outside of Drama, Scarlette was in Jackson Jaguar Band for 1 year, Jaguar Mascot for 2 years, Choir for 4 years, JAA, vocal strand for 4 years, JMHS Jazz Ensemble for 1 year and International Thespian Society. Scarlette’s favorite memory was Tech Week for Spongebob the Musical and all the fun moments involved with it.

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨ Madison Harris,Is a Three Year Member of the Drama Club and will be attending Rowan University to study Electrical and Computer Engineering. Her credits include SpongeBob The Musical as ensemble, Clue as Mrs. Peacock, Mean Girls as ensemble, and Shrek as Pig 2 and The Greeter. Outside of Drama Club, Madison is a 4 year Jackson Jaguar Band Member. Her favorite Musical was Spongebob The Musical. Her favorite memory from Drama Club was her first time performing SpongeBob the Musical for the 5th graders like she was able to experience when she was in 5th grade when she got to see Beauty and the Beast in 2018.

We had the best time at our Drama Club Memorial/Liberty Combining day! We got to learn from theatre professionals who are also alumni of JMHS (Brandon Contreras ‘08 and Anu Mysore ‘09) and JLHS (Luke Mannikus ‘20 and Allison Rosofsky ‘21). As well Sam Russo (JMHS ‘22) accompanied our Acting through song portion of events! The day commenced in dinner by our parents groups and karaoke! We had a great time making new friends and we know next year it’ll be great with us all under one roof, as one Jackson!
