🎈 From the launch field to center stage! 🎭

Hot air ballooning is taking flight in the brand-new Michigan production “Emus on the Loose: An Emu-sical!”

​If that stage prop looks familiar to our Jubilee fans… that’s because it’s the real deal! You might recognize the basket from getting your photo taken in it during the Hot Air Jubilee. A huge shoutout to one of our very own Jubilee board members and their team at Defy Gravity Ballooning LLC for loaning the authentic balloon basket to bring this scene to life under the stage lights. 🎈🪶

​This world-premiere family musical follows four escaped emus on an adventure across Michigan, stopping at some of our state’s most iconic destinations—and apparently, taking to the skies along the way! 😄 Catch the show this weekend at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton.

​We love seeing ballooning take center stage and are excited to support our Jubilee family in the local arts!

A huge thank you to Production Realty for helping us keep our Hot Air Jubilee pilots fueled during those early morning flights with delicious donuts! Your support helped start each competition day on a sweet note.

And thank you to Jackson Popcorn Depot for creating a custom Hot Air Jubilee popcorn mix for our pilot packs! It was the perfect local treat to welcome our pilots and give them a taste of Jackson hospitality.

Some places are more than just a venue. They're a true partner.

A heartfelt thank you to Ella Sharp Museum for once again opening its beautiful grounds to the Hot Air Jubilee. From providing the perfect launch field for our balloons to making room for food vendors, family activities, parking, spectators, and everything in between, Ella Sharp Museum is truly the heart of our festival.

Beyond the launch field, the museum graciously allows us to use its space for pilot meals, competition briefings, and other behind-the-scenes operations that are essential to bringing the Hot Air Jubilee to life. Their support makes it possible for us to provide a welcoming home base for our pilots, crews, and volunteers throughout the event.

We're incredibly grateful for this longstanding partnership and for the support that allows us to bring this beloved community tradition to life year after year. Thank you, Ella Sharp Museum, for helping make the magic of the Hot Air Jubilee possible! 🎈

It takes an incredible community to make the U.S. Women's National Championship so special, and we're so grateful to the local businesses that helped keep our competitors smiling (and fueled!) all week long.

We're still dreaming about the incredible charcuterie table that The Curated Table Catering Co. so beautifully crafted for our U.S. Women's National Championship check-in.

We're drooling over these photos all over again and wanted to send a huge thank you to The Curated Table for creating such a delicious and welcoming spread for our pilots and guests. It was almost too beautiful to eat... almost!
