❓ Is this owned by a corporation?
➡️ No! This is a locally family-owned business built by a Rogue Valley family with a dream.
❓ Why did you start the rink?
➡️ We wanted to create more safe, fun, and positive activities for kids, teens, and families in the Rogue Valley.
❓ Is this an indoor facility?
➡️ Yes! Our events are currently held indoors inside gymnasium-style facilities.
❓ What kind of floor is it?
➡️ We currently skate on smooth indoor athletic gym flooring designed for sports and recreational activities.
❓ Do I need to bring my own skates?
➡️ Nope! We offer roller skate rentals with admission.
❓ Can I bring my own skates?
➡️ Yes! You are welcome to bring your own roller skates.
❓ Do you rent rollerblades?
➡️ At this time we only offer traditional roller skates.
❓ What skate sizes do you have?
➡️ We have a variety of children and adult skate sizes available, but availability may vary depending on attendance.
❓ Do skaters have to wear helmets?
➡️ Helmets are not required for all skaters, but they are strongly recommended for beginners and younger children.
❓ Do you have safety equipment available?
➡️ Yes! We have helmets for children as well as elbow pads and knee pads available.
❓ Do parents need to stay with their children?
➡️ Yes. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian while attending the rink.
❓ Can parents drop children off and leave?
➡️ No. Parents or guardians are expected to remain present and responsible for their children during the event.
❓ Is there a beginner area?
➡️ We do our best to help beginners feel comfortable and safe while learning to skate.
❓ What happens if someone gets hurt?
➡️ Staff will assist with basic first aid situations and help contact parents or emergency services if necessary.
❓ Are there rink rules?
➡️ Yes! Safety rules are posted throughout the rink and all skaters are expected to follow them.
❓ What happens if someone is being unsafe or bullying others?
➡️ Bullying, roughhousing, unsafe skating, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone acting unsafely may be asked to leave.
❓ Do you have waivers?
➡️ Yes! All skaters are required to have a signed waiver before skating.
❓ Can spectators come in without skating?
➡️ Yes! Family members are welcome to come watch and support skaters.
❓ Is there music?
➡️ Of course! What’s roller skating without music? 🎶🛼
❓ Will there be food or drinks?
➡️ Food and drink availability may vary by event and venue.
❓ Can I bring outside food or drinks?
➡️ Please follow venue and rink rules regarding outside food and beverages.
❓ Will there be themed nights or special events?
➡️ Yes! As we grow, we hope to offer themed skate nights, glow skates, family nights, school events, and more.
❓ Can you book birthday parties or private events?
➡️ We are working toward offering private parties and private event opportunities as we continue growing.
❓ Do you take cash or cards?
➡️ Payment options may vary by event, but we plan to offer multiple payment methods whenever possible.
❓ What should skaters wear?
➡️ Comfortable clothing and socks are highly recommended for skating.
❓ If I fall, what should I do?
➡️ Try to safely move to the side of the rink and ask staff for assistance if needed.
❓ If I have questions, do I contact the YMCA?
➡️ No. Please contact us directly through our page or our business phone number with any questions regarding the rink.
❓ Why are prices what they are?
➡️ Running a rink comes with large expenses including insurance, staffing, venue rental, flooring, equipment, skate maintenance, and safety requirements. We are doing our best to keep things affordable while building something sustainable for the community.
