4th week of
9/22 - 9/28 Hedgehog + Mushroom

Hydnum repandum sounds like something from Harry Potter and is the scientific name for the hedgehog mushroom. I am torn between trying to capture every single detail, and also working in layers to make a clean vector. I started and stopped, threw out some things, and still not satisfied. Sharing with you all anyway. Sometimes things look a little messy along the way and that’s okay.

2nd week of
9/8 - 9/14 Hare + Dandelion
I had a little more time than last week, so I was able to try these in a few repeats. I would love pair of flowy pants with the hare design on them. I love these retro colors.

A magnet, a tote bag, and a pin received their surface beautification procedures today. Are you a fan of sunflowers and farmer’s markets? 4th slide was my inspiration for this design.

“Fran’s Kittens” is my new fabric collection available on Spoonflower. If you love kittens, this one is for you.

I recently had the pleasure of fostering these 5 kittens until they were old enough to be fixed and adopted out. Rogue Community Cat Rescue has been helping me fix the feral cats that were on my property when I moved in just over a year ago. Go follow Rogue Community Cat Rescue to learn more about them and donate to their cause. They do such great work in the community and are so crucial for helping these felines live a better life.

In addition to being inspired by these fur babies, I had a push to make them in a fall theme. These mockups are from Bonnie Christine® • Designer and her pattern+ program. The challenge was to design fall themed children’s clothing.

The motifs in this collection are hand drawn using procreate.

My reference photos are all taken by me and used as inspiration for the final drawings.

Rogue Community Cat Rescue will be partnering with Goodwill this weekend for a fundraiser. Please take your donations in to help fund their program. Look out for their upcoming thrift store, which will be opening in the near future. Always fix your kitties. ❤️
