Awhile back I asked God to show me what Redefining Victory looked like. That night I had a dream. In the dream God asked me if I wanted to know how He would have me paint "Redefining Victory," how He sees it. I, of course, said "yes." He began inspiring me to paint the picture you see below. In my dream I could go inside of the painting as I painted it and each component taught me what they symbolized. The little girl symbolized the most fruitful, faith-filled, powerful believers. The paint on her hands symbolized our talents, annointings and giftings. The toddler finger painting in the background was our greatest works of faith and our most amazing accomplishments. The man was Jesus. Suddenly, I saw the painting take life. As Jesus laughed with joy, fondness and love over the little girl as she was tickled pink at her accomplishment, the laughter went into the toddler art she had made and actually released the victory over it and into the world. The victory didn't come from the accomplishment. God saw it as no more than toddler art. The victory came from the favor, fondness and love of Jesus as He laughed over us with love. This dream taught me a profound truth: There is no pressure in the performance. The victory isn't achieved by what we do or accomplish. The victory is achieved by just being who we are; deeply loved and favored by God. So try! Go! Dare! Dream! Do! You can't help but be victorious! It's all toddler art anyway!
