Due to the likelihood of a significant winter storm beginning on Sunday, Jan. 25, the Martin Luther King Jr. Concert that evening has been canceled. No makeup date has been scheduled.

Dear supporters,

Due to the evolving winter storm and the strong possibility that the College will move to remote operations on Monday, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 MLK Celebration.

Though we are unable to gather in song for Dr. King this year, our work continues. We very much look forward to presenting Lena McLin’s Free at Last Cantata, celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., at the ACDA Conference in February, where this important music will be shared with a broader national audience.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

Open auditions will be held on Wednesday, January 14th from 6-7 p.m at the First Baptist Church (309 Cayuga Street). Reading music is NOT REQUIRED.
