Colin Clive (1900-1937) played the character of Dr. Henry Frankenstein in both Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935). His star potential was evident early in his career. Unfortunately, some of the brightest stars burn out too quickly. Colin Clive died due to a combination of alcoholism and tuberculosis at a young age. He is immortalized in the Monster Lounge thanks to the artistry of Tony Pitocco.

Coming soon to the Monster Lounge - an oil painting by John Febonio. This is a scene from Frankenstein (1931), in which Fritz (Dwight Frye) is cruelly tormenting the creature (Boris Karloff). Fire bad! Fritz will pay dearly for his bad behavior later in the film.
