I don’t usually share finds that will stay in my personal collection, but I had to share this one. I’ve been a Nancy Drew fan ever since I was a young girl. I stopped in at the Ishpeming Library book sale and found 35 of them! One of them brings me closer to a full set!

Please go and support the library book sale. It continues tomorrow! Learn about the mileage that will be on the next ballot! This library is so important to our small town ❤️

Next Saturday come on out to the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum! It’s going to be a fun event!

Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum will host our 7th annual Fall Festival on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10am to 4pm at 501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming, Michigan.
Visitors can explore more than 30 vendor booths featuring handmade crafts, specialty foods, jewelry, and unique gifts from across the region. The Island, and Dead River food trucks will also be available.
This annual festival celebrates the spirit of community with the historic Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum as its backdrop.
