May do another series of clocks. This is an older piece. Thinking about time now, time that has past, how we make decisions from time past, and trying to live in the present has a serious tone now especially. We have always had to confront very hard issues. Still it is so shocking.

I was asked to pick a butterfly to paint for our village during the time of butterflies pollination. This is a Painted Lady butterfly that is known for migrating to far places. I called her “Spirit” and she has since been adopted into a private residence in town. Painted in Acrylic on wood
