✺The fascinating plot of Diablo IV :
Inarius and Lilith fell in love. They, along with other depressed angels and demons, steal the World Stone and flee forever from the Eternal War.
The War of Good and Evil lasted for thousands of years, but there was no victory or defeat. Pandemonium is the land where the Worldstone is ravaged and attacked countless times. This made Inarius tired of this never ending war. So Inarius decided to leave this war. Inarius and Lilith fall in love, they steal the Worldstone. Along with other gods and demons fleeing from the eternal war.
Inarius and Lilith created hybrids between angels and demons, the ancestors of mankind. Also known as Nephalem. The eternal war ended when both sides discovered that a third party had stolen the Worldstone. Leads to a joint quest to find Worldstone and it opens up the battles in all three games.
Lilith was enraged and ready to kill anyone who dared to disobey her will when Inarius opened a guild to find a way to curb the power of the Nephalem. Inarius locked Lilith in another dimension out of anger at her cruelty, and used the Worldstone to seal the Nephalem's powers and transform into a normal human.
Back with Diablo 4, Lilith can become the enemy that gamers need to defeat. Lilith possesses unknown looks and schemes to achieve her goals. The realm of Sanctuary and the Nephalems is just a way to solve the Eternal War. Maybe Lilith will help humanity and the Nephalem to prevent the revival of evil forces (Diablo 3).
In Diablo 4, players can take on the role of Nephalem to defeat Lilith. Because after all, Lilith's nature is still evil and not human. Inarius and Nephalem were useful tools for Lilith to end the war and achieve her own goals.
