House Of Usher Productions House Of Usher Productions is a theatre collective that was founded at University of California, Irvine in 2018.

We are currently producing productions of Dave Malloy's GHOST QUARTET.

"Ghost Quartet" (with original music and lyrics by Dave Malloy) is a song cycle presented by 4 musicians, featuring tight vocal harmonies and 24 different instruments in various styles ranging from Jazz, to Folk, to Sondheim; A camera breaks and four friends drink in an interwoven tale spanning seven centuries, with a murderous sister, a treehouse astronomer, a bear, a subway, and the ghost of Thelonious Monk.

Who We Are

House Of Usher Productions formed at University of California, Irvine in 2018. Mark Metzger and Becca Rowland collaborated with Dani Honeyman and Aaron Miller to create a production of Dave Malloy’s “Ghost Quartet” at the university. The production was created solely by these four members, creating all direction, orchestrations, design, marketing, and management for the production. The collective has since taken the show out of the university setting and into local theaters all across California, now having performed in Irvine, San Diego, Martinez, and Auburn. We are currently in the midst of coordinating a tour across California for September of 2019 where we’ll be bringing the show to Chico, San Francisco, Berkeley, and Hollywood.
