Please see the important information below regarding ASDC programming days and times as well as attendance expectations for the upcoming year!

We will have another open house on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ironwood. If you are unable to make it, but would be interested in participating, please email us at [email protected]!

If your child(ren) are wishing to a be a part of an actual production, please know the following:

*If you are in 4th grade you must attend the drama opportunity from 3:45pm to 5:15pm on Thursdays beginning September 24th, 2026 and ending December 12th, 2026.

*If you are in 5th or 6th grade you must attend the drama opportunity from 3:45pm to 5:15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 22nd, 2026 and ending December 12th, 2026. You must be able to attend both days.

*If you are in 7th or 8th grade you must attend the drama opportunity from 6pm to 7:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 22nd, 2026 and ending December 12th, 2026. You must be able to attend both days.

*If you are in 9th-12th grade and would be interested in participating, please reach out to us to complete an "Interest and Availability Form" and we will make every effort to create opportunities for you!!

Tune in tomorrow morning to learn more about the club!☺️

Tune into “In Our Range” at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Our guest will be Mary Hansen with the Awkward Stage Drama Club in Ironwood.

The Awkward Stage Drama Club is a 501c3 non-profit bringing kids from grades 4-12 together to learn about and work together on all aspects of theater production.

From acting to directing to tech and publicity, the club has something for every student. The Awkward Stage Drama Club has been a part of our community for 14 years and is open to all kids in the area.

The ASDC is hosting an open house on September 3rd and 8th at Zion Lutheran Church in Ironwood. Student and adults are encouraged to attend.

Many hours were spent transforming this “nursery”/community room at Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church, Ironwood, MI, into a space that will calm, inspire, motivate, and support all modes of creative expression. Our drama club participants (and church members) will be able to use this room for workshops, meetings, celebrations etc - we are pretty proud of the results 😎
