Yesterday, while I was cleaning and putting out a few fall decorations, something caught my eye out the window…👀

I left you wondering for a day, but here they are: Tom, Tom & Tom! 🦃🦃🦃

One (the original Tom 🦃~😆)even stopped at the fence to say hello. The other three ran too fast and were camera shy🤣. I do love the visitors of Sunny Slope Farm! 🍂

Either way, God’s light is still there—sometimes showing us the whole path, and sometimes giving us just enough light for the next step.

Visitors to Sunny Slope 🦅

Look who spent about 30 minutes in Sunny & Cher’s favorite tree this morning! We had a young eagle watching over the farm. Could this be one of theirs? We can’t know for sure, but I’ll be keeping an eye on that perch and hoping for another visit. 🤎

Good morning from Nonna’s kitchen! ☕️

A few ripe bananas were calling my name yesterday, so into the kitchen I went! Banana, walnut & chocolate chip mini breads fresh from the oven. 🍌🍫

A couple will stay out to enjoy with our morning coffee…and the rest are headed to the freezer for another day. Because around here, if I’m going to bake, I might as well make enough for later! 🤪

Fresh today, tucked away for tomorrow. ❤️

Waste not, want not… it’s just how I’ve always cooked. 😊

Shellye has always said I can make “something out of nothing.” LOL! I’m not sure about nothing, but I do love looking at what I already have and figuring out what it can become. 🤪

This time it was russet potatoes—scrubbed well because I kept those skins!—turkey sausage, eggs, green chile, cheeses and a little heavy cream. And somehow, a little of this and a little of that became a definite keeper. ❤️

Use what you have. Make it your own. And don’t be afraid to play with your food! 🐝

Sunday is a gentle invitation to become still—to quiet the noise, steady our thoughts, and find our center again.

Take one slow breath.
Release what you cannot control.
Place your worries in God’s hands.

You do not need to have the entire week figured out today. One breath, one prayer, and one step at a time is enough.
