About the author: Morgan Brooks grew up in South Dakota on a cattle ranch. She read the Bible during college when she felt like she had no friends and then again when she was at Army Basic Training. Now life is looking better, and she wants to share her version of the Bible that helped her get through some of her loneliest times. She has a husband, a baby girl, a few horses that she calls her best

friends, a blue heeler that keeps her entertained, and she teaches English at the local community college while pursuing her dream of writing and barrel racing professionally.
