Just to tell you a little about myself and how I got started on crocheting. Mimi taught me at the age of eight how to crochet. She was the one in the family that did everything! From cross stitching to sewing to crocheting and so on. When I visited her d

uring long summers I would sit with her and she would hand me a hook and yarn and said get busy. After I got into high school and met my now husband I didn't work on it much. I really lost the connection with it when my Mimi passed away. My heart ached every time I saw her old hooks, knitting needles, or her BIG stash of thread. (I still have some!) So its been a least 20 years since I pick it back up. I was keeping myself busy by working, starting at the age of 14, and now I am unemployed by choice. I went from busy bee to a dead stop sitting at home getting bored. I had a dream one day and it was my Mimi sitting in a chair crocheting a afghan like she always did when I was little so I decided to start back up again. I have gotten a lot better and taught myself how to ready patterns. (youtube is the best!!) Its been over a year now and I love it! I get to sit at home and work on my own schedule. :)

Due to inclement weather, the Sunday the 25th crochet class is canceled. Your safety comes first, and slippery roads + yarn hooks are not a great combo. 🌧️🧶

Hi everyone! I just wanted to pop in and give a little update. I’m finally starting to feel better after my surgery, and I’m hoping to be back up and running for classes again soon! 🎉

I’ve definitely missed chatting with you all (turns out tonsil removal makes talking pretty tricky 😅), but I’m on the mend and can’t wait to get back to teaching, creating, and laughing with you.
