The Halloween Show and Fling is tonight! Come out to support our skaters and then have fun in the public skate fling after the show 🎃 The show starts at 5:30pm.

The Zamboni is repaired and the rink is resuming regular hours today 🎉

October 2022 Member Spotlight - Luciano Chen!

Luciano started skating at the age of 7. It all began at a birthday party and ever since he has fallen in love with the ice. Shortly after the birthday party, Luciano started with Learn to Skate class, about a year later he began private lessons with Coach Maria and Tamara. He now works with Coach Mark with whom he has been the past 5 years. Luciano has passed his Senior Moves in the Field Test and has earned the recognition of USFS Gold Medalist in Moves. He is working on his double Axel and triple jumps and currently competes in Intermediate Singles. His goals are to, one day, land all triple jumps and eventually earn a Team USA jacket.

Additionally, he has been involved in pair skating with his sister Lauren. They currently compete at Intermediate Pairs level. Ever since he started skating, Luciano knew that he had found what he wanted to do.

Outside of skating, Luciano attends school, he is in 8th grade. He enjoys all STEM subjects, but his favorite is Math. He is part of the MATHCOUNTS team at school. Some of his hobbies include playing the guitar and reading books. He doesn’t have an exact job in mind for the future, but he would like to go into the field of Engineering or Business.

Beginning tomorrow, Saturday morning freestyle is moving to 6-8am due to Halloween Show practice!

Our first Halloween Show practice is tomorrow at 8am.
