There are a lot of people we will be thanking over the next few days, but I would like to start with our VOLUNTEERS ❤️.
Some were Iredell locals, some drove a long ways to come volunteer their time at our hometown rodeo.
(I am sorry I didn’t get pictures of everyone!)
•
Jim Bob & Sue Kelley (Iredell) - for working the entry gate both nights, even braving the wind & cold Saturday night. This is not an easy job if you have worked an event gate before, you know!
•
Nick Heutzenroeder (Iredell) - for working the contestant gate and parking all those trucks & trailers!
•
Paul Adams (Iredell) - for dragging the arena for each event. This is so important to keep the events fair and safe for the contestants.
•
Jennifer Ramsey, Jessica Heutzenroeder, & Taylor Liverman (Iredell) - for working the VIP tent booth. Everything from signing up mutton bustin contestants, selling merchandise, raffle tickets and VIP tent entries!
•
Jay Monroe (Iredell) for always helping Casey wherever he needs it. Moving the cows, adjusting bucking chutes, setting up lights, etc.
•
C**t Price (Odessa) - for cooking some awesome crawfish ALL night long! Y’all he took vacation time to come work his tail off the week before helping prepare the grounds and then all day/night of the event.
•
Jesse & Sam Sullivan (El Paso) - for coming all this way to volunteer your time wherever we needed. Your help with the livestock is much appreciated!
•
Vivi Benetiz (Iredell) - for working the bounce house Friday night & staying late to help with cleanup of the rodeo grounds!
•
Others I would also like to thank that I missed earlier!
Robert Edwards & Adrian Benetiz (Iredell) - for working parking! This is also not an easy job!
•
Bryton Torres (Iredell) - for working hard all week before the rodeo getting the grounds ready, w**d eating, cleaning up the grounds!
•
I sure hope I did not miss anyone!
Because of volunteers like you, the rodeo ran smoothly and without a hitch.
THANK YOU ❤️
