The Met Theater in Iowa Falls is proud to present a special screening of “If These Walls Could Rock” on Sunday, September 20th, with proceeds benefiting the IFA Music Programs!

We are thrilled to welcome home IFA alumnus Chad Gervich, who will be flying in from Los Angeles to participate in this special event!

Chad served as a consultant and producer on the rock documentary, which tells the story of the legendary Sunset Marquis Hotel and its place in rock ’n’ roll history.

It was a wonderful afternoon for a movie at the Met!

After a bit of a rocky start, our 44 attendees were taken on a romantic adventure through the beautiful city of Florence, Italy.

Most of you know that our theater is old. Do you know how old? Originally built by Eugene Elsworth as his own smaller version of the New York Met in 1899. The Met was the grandest structure in the midwest. Mr. Elsworth spent roughly $50,000 to construct The Met. That is roughly $2,000,000 in today's money. The first cement sidewalk in Iowa Falls was from Mr. Elsworth's house to The Met not too long after The Met opened.
