Hello there fellow ghouls, ghost, fiends, goblins, vermin, scum, orcs, trolls, elves, potential humans, and everything else under the sun or hiding in the darkness.
The Shattock Schoole of Defence would love to invite three to five miscreants to join our crew. Auditions will be held on a case-by-case basis. Shattock is a group of weird, nerd, lizard people who get together once a week to work on 30 minute comedy/ sword-fighting skits.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Sundays from 5:30pm-8pm open from April 1st through October 31st.
- Memorial Day weekend + Memorial Day availability
- In addition to Memorial day there will be 3-5 other fair weekends depending on group availability.
-Ability to start in April of this year
Things we do NOT require:
- Acting experience- Yes, we will help get you up to speed
- Stage combat experience- We will teach you!
- You to prepare your own audition material! (We will provide that for you)
Auditions details:
1.) Short, simple interview so we can get to know you a little
2.) Two short line readings with another member of the cast
3.) 5ish move sword fight taught to you by a member of the crew on the spot! (We want to see what you look like with a sword in your hand, or safety... it's the "can you hold it safely" part)
