Not the outcome he was looking for but has to be the one he has to accept. Missed a ton of spares today, but kept fighting until the end. He was able to walk away with 6th place and $150 plus another $75 from brackets in scholarship money. Way to go kid!

Another PBA Jr event in the books.What a roller coaster of a weekend. 4 1/2 hour drive to Lincoln NE on Friday afternoon just in time for a one hour practice. Then we had a great homemade dinner with our friends from Illinois which included a lot of laughs and some PBA 26 bowling on XBox. Saturday started out with 5 games of qualifying on a short pattern and the scores weren't great but hung in there. This was followed by a two hour break for lunch and reoiling the lanes. The 2nd block on a medium pattern started back up at 130 and started out slow but with two big back to back games the day ended on a positive note. Back to the hotel for a quick dip in the hot tub and pool and then another homemade dinner with our Illinois friends. Oh yeah and more laughs and XBox. Sunday morning started off bright and early on the long pattern and it went really well including a 277 game. After qualifying ended up in third and just 150 pins from 2nd place. Unfortunately first place was almost completely out of reach. We bowled 6 total match games which went 4-2 but came up short of 2nd place. We jumped straight in the truck and made it home by about 815. We want to say thank you to everyone of you that sent messages this whole weekend. They do not go unnoticed and they sure feel special. We have a month off until we go back to Lincoln for the NEYBP tournament of champions. Thanks again everyone!

Finished the 3rd block with games of 170, 221, 277, 213 and 189 for a 1070 series. Looks like he has qualified in 3rd place abd and will start match play in a while. Let's finish this with a PBA Jr title!
