It is time to start rounding up volunteers for Halloween night. The only commitment is Halloween from about 2:00 p.m. until about 8:30 or 9 ,and 2x45 minute meetings. Of course there's more you can do throughout the month if you're looking to help, but those are the only times you have to be there. Let me know if you're interested in being in the haunt, working backstage or entertaining the crowds! I finalize my volunteer list usually in July.

Alex, your friendly neighborhood haunter over at Alex's House of Horrors. My surgery went well, and so it looks like I am going to be able to do the yard this year! Yay!

My first big need for the year is about eight pieces of plywood. If you have full size pieces of plywood, any thickness, sitting around you don't need, please reach out.

I actually also always need plywood pieces, so If you ever have spare that is at least 3ftx3ft, let me know.

Morning walk in Bucharest, Romania. Had a day here before heading to Antayla, Turkey for an emergency medical situation. Four days in Antayla, then another in Bucharest, then home for a day rest before knee replacement surgery.

Happy knee updated!
After waiting forever to get in, and then months for a surgeon only to find out they had referred me to a surgeon that didn't do knee replacements, and then being scheduled in June with the right surgeon, I was able to get in today because of a cancellation. They have scheduled my surgery for May 18, but I am on a wait list if something becomes available earlier.
After looking at the X-rays and MRI, he is fairly confident I only need a partial knee replacement with some bone spur removal. This has a 4-6 week recovery and should allow me to do the yard!! That being said, he did want a release that stated if he got in there and it looked different inside, he could do a total knee replacement. That would make it hard to pull off this year. I'll keep you updated.

I've mostly been stuck in bed for weeks. I'm weighing if I'm going to be able to put on the yard this year. More surgery coming up so feeling really worn out. I usually spend weeks working 30 minutes at a time to get set up, but not sure I can do that this year. Really bumbing me out
