😁🤪 Good People & Good Vibes 🤪😁
Thank you to every single person who came to our fundraiser at Riverside Theatre on Thursday! We were so lucky to have a packed room full of good people and good vibes.
Our young writers did so well on that stage and it meant so much that our community came out to support!
It was also a very special treat to honor one of our founders, Lisa K. Roberts, with a handmade book created by Laurie Zaiger and filled up with writing & pictures from our students. We love and appreciate all the work Lisa has done to make IC Speaks what it is today.
We still have funds to raise, but we’re definitely going to keep having fun while we do it! And yes, you’re always invited to join us! Let’s keep holding space for one another, finding the joy, and speaking truth to power.
