UPDATE!, Michaels Honor Walk will be
Tuesday June 16th at 11am,
please arrive a hour early.

My brother will be fulfilling his final wish of helping others on Monday afternoon/evening through the gift of organ and tissue donation. We welcome anyone who would like to join us in honoring him during his Honor Walk at Sparrow Hospital/University of Michigan Health Lansing.

Once we have a more specific time, we will share an update with the details. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.

I personally would love to see everyone he’s positively impacted at one point or another pack the halls of the hospital and send him off like the legend he really is!

Tomorrow, June 13th noon-5pm, we invite our racing family to come together for an Open Track Day at The Krater.

This won’t be a race day or a points day. Instead, it’s an opportunity for friends, family, and racers to gather, turn some laps, spend time together, and keep that unmistakable “Let’s Get It” energy rolling strong.

As many of you know, Michael is currently in the hospital and continues to fight with everything he has. While he still has a tough road ahead, the amount of love, support, prayers, and encouragement from this community has been truly overwhelming. It has shown just how many lives he has touched both at and away from the track.

Tomorrow we’ll also be accepting donations to help support Michael and his family as they navigate the challenges and expenses that come with a situation like this. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated.

Most importantly, we want this to be a day of community—a day to come together, share stories, turn laps, and show Michael and his family that they are not facing this fight alone.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, shared memories, offered support, and kept Michael in your thoughts and prayers. The strength of this racing family has been incredible to witness.

💙 Krater Nation, we need your help. 💙

As many of you know, Michael Althoff — one of the fearless leaders of Krater Nation and our very own “Mr. Let’s Get It” — is currently in the hospital and continuing to fight with everything he has.

Over the years, Mike has touched countless lives, made lifelong friendships, shared plenty of laughs, and created memories that many of us will never forget. Now, we’d love to give something back to him and his family.

We’re asking anyone who has a favorite memory, funny story, special moment, or meaningful experience with Mike to share it with us. Whether it’s a wild racing story, a lesson he taught you, a laugh you shared, or simply a moment that made an impact on your life, we want to hear it.

If you’re comfortable, please record a short video sharing your story. If you’d rather write it out, that’s perfectly fine too. Post your video or story in the comment or feel free to your videos or written memories through Messenger to The Krater page or directly to Aaron Mull.

As Mike continues his fight, some of these stories and videos may even be shared with him so he can hear firsthand just how many people he’s impacted and how much he means to this community.

1/4 scale on The Krater R/C Dirt Oval Raceway!

Had a couple drivers bring their 1/4 scale cars to the Krater and wanted to see them on the track in action. We all gathered around the track for a few minutes to see a couple of our locals turn some laps in their rides!
