Wow, what a crazy weekend! GCV&M does a wonderful job with the Celtic Faire. Saturday was busy, perfect weather and lots of activity.
Sunday was a bit more laid back, which was fine. It's nice to have the time to chat with the customers, neighbors and the nice folks that work there.
THEN, the weather came in. The museums folks let us all know some bad weather was on the way and we should start packing up. Unfortunately, my setup is kind of time consuming to break down and the weather was quicker then I was! My husband, at the last minute decided to come and help me. Yikes, we were soaked through. The wind finally settled down and we finished packing up in the rain. Thankfully the items that got wet, will be fine and my jewelry and displays were mostly packed up. A big thanks to my neighbors who came and helped us!

Overall the weekend was really enjoyable!

After my first event this year, I have a break until June 13/14 The Celtic Faire at GCV&M. I just put some nice enamel pieces in The Cheshire Union.

I had another good show at the Genesee Country Village & Museum. The Antiques & Artisan event was my first event of the year. Lots of nice folks, both shoppers and the staff, makes everything easier. I was able to set up early (being solo, that's helpful!), held indoors, level floor, no wind or weather concerns and help loading at the end of the show. I always have a positive experience at the Museum. A thanks to the staff and the patrons of the museum.

47th Annual Lockport Outdoor Arts & Crafts Festival 🎨 Check it out on Sat Jun 24th 11:00am & Sun 25th 5:00pm at 4 blocks of Main St. Lockport (Washburn St. to Cottage St.)!

The Optimist Club of Lockport will be sponsoring its 47th annual Lockport Outdoor Arts & Craft Festival on Main St. Artists & Craftsmen will have an opportunity for prizes & awards. The festival attracts 20-25,000 people over the two day period. All proceeds from the show go to support Youth Activities in the Lockport Area.
