The MTT Scholarship was established in loving memory of Maryah, a vibrant dancer whose strength, compassion, and love for dance inspired all who knew her. As a former dancer at DD’s Dance Studio (now DanceXcel), Maryah faced her battle with Ewings Sarcoma Bone Cancer from age 9 to 16 with unwavering positivity and a selfless spirit. This scholarship aims to support students who embody Maryah’s dedication and passion for dance.
Eligibility Criteria for the MTT Scholarship:
1. Must be a current student enrolled at DanceXcel.
2. Demonstrate a passion for dance and commitment to the dance community.
3. Show a true commitment to continuing dance at DanceXcel in the foreseeable future.
4. Exhibit a strong work ethic, including regular attendance and participation in classes and performances.
5. Provide mentorship or support to fellow dancers.
