Hello dearest friends,
In just a little under 2 years since conception, The Salty Jester will be sadly not continuing on.
■In the past year, events with good attendance have been too few, to make up for evenings where attendance is low.
■After much consideration, since this is a privately funded project, we made the difficult decision to not continue, as the risks are just too high.

This project that was near and dear to our hearts and it was everything and more than we ever thought it would be.
Anyone who met us could see we lived and breathed for every detail and gave it our all. We loved every face that walked out gushing about it and how people were so proud to have the space. We loved every single artist that took the travels to play on that stage, and left as friends.

•Thank you Zach Conat, for fronting the vision of creating a space where we all have forged memories, met remarkable humans, and experienced moments to cherish forever.
•Thank you to the Mother Pluckers, Ashley Pratt & the Kuligs, whom without their hard work and friendship, the lounge would not have never been possible.

We encourage you to continue to find live music events in the community (Open Range Concerts, the Little Theater, Backus, Concerts in the Park) and attend them as often as possible, because that is the only way things continue to evolve and grow.
The vibe that made The Salty Jester lounge iconic & magical wasn't just one thing.
It was US.
You, me, strangers, friends, coming together to share the love of music in one really visually kick ass space, to support some of the most talented musicians.
To me whether for 2 years or 20. THAT’S a success.
You never know, maybe the concept of a listening lounge will be in larger demand one day, and we shall all sing together again underneath the red light.
For now, I will enjoy thinking about lifes next big adventure, and be a freed up event coordinator, back up singer, bartender, entrepreneur, creative concept & branding strategist, speaker, and other things. Give a ringy dingy if you need any creativity in your life and keep an eye on the page every now and then. 😘🫶
