Marked safe from using AI to generate fake photos of myself — yet again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This one feels a little tough, because my entire feed is full of these AI-generated images of people in their “jobs” or alternate realities. 🙃

What may seem innocent and fun is actually pretty resource-heavy — AI uses massive amounts of water and precious metals to run. On top of that, most people don’t realize that facial recognition systems rely on real photos to build databases. ‼️

So yeah… I might be “no fun,” but I’m choosing to be mindful. Being thoughtful feels better than being trendy. What looks harmless on the surface can have very real impacts on our planet. 🌎

Just choosing awareness, one small choice at a time. 🥹❤️‍🩹
