I had the absolute pleasure of meeting a very special lady a few days ago. She came to me with this design and shared her story and why this piece was so important to her. It was an honor to be able to connect with someone so wonderful and full of life! Listening to her hardships and observing how despite life dealing her a crappy hand, she was the most loving and joyful person I’ve encountered in a very long time. I was reminded that despite our difficulties, we persevere and come out stronger for it.

We had a ball hanging out this day, and I had a blast getting to do this tattoo. Thank you Mama Jody for reminding me what it’s all about 🖤
