Personally, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is one of my favorite things about this entire event.

The toy soldiers, gingerbread men, Christmas music, and Santa Claus coming down Main Street just make my Christmas-loving heart so happy!

If this is your first Christmas party, I would absolutely make the parade a priority!

🎄✨ MICKEY’S VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS PARTY | PART 1

Planning your first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World? This series is for YOU!

Let’s start with the basics!

🎟️ Separately ticketed event at Magic Kingdom

🎄 Select nights November 8–December 22, 2026

⏰ Party hours: 7 PM–midnight

🏰 Early entry begins at 4 PM!

🎟️ No additional theme park ticket required when entering at 4 PM or later.

🎄Tickets range from $189–$229 plus tax, depending on your date.

My biggest tip? Take advantage of those three extra hours! You can get so much done before the party even begins.

And don’t forget, party tickets are limited and can sell out!

Halloween at Walt Disney World OR Halloween on the High Seas?

I’ve experienced BOTH, and let me tell you, they’re two completely different ways to celebrate Halloween with Disney!

I absolutely LOVE Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The Boo-To-You Parade, fireworks, characters, and seeing Magic Kingdom all dressed up for Halloween are so much fun!

BUT there are a few things about Halloween on the High Seas that I really love!

First, so many of the Halloween activities take place indoors, which means AIR CONDITIONING! And if you’ve ever worn a costume in Florida during Halloween season, you know exactly why I appreciate that!

I also love that the costume guidelines are different onboard. Being able to wear my longer pink Cinderella dress on the Disney Treasure was such a special experience!

And here’s another big difference! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party requires a separate ticket, while the Halloween festivities on a qualifying Disney cruise are included in your cruise fare!

Now, if you know me, you know I’m a seven-night cruise girlie! I love having time to enjoy all the Halloween fun while still getting to experience everything else the ship has to offer.

Would I do Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party again? ABSOLUTELY!

Would I sail Halloween on the High Seas again? In a heartbeat!

Both are magical in their own way, and I really don’t think you can go wrong!

Sea days are honestly one of the reasons I love a longer Disney Cruise. 🤍

There’s no rushing off the ship or trying to squeeze everything into one day. You can slow down, explore the ship and try some of those little places you might otherwise walk right past.

Damien and I stopped at Jade Cricket Café on the Disney Treasure and decided to try a few different coffees and drinks and rate them together. ☕️ We had SO much fun doing this, and the baristas were seriously the sweetest!

Jade Cricket Café is one of the specialty walk-up cafés near the Grand Hall and is inspired by Mulan. It’s such a cute little stop to add to a sea day.

And here’s a little coffee tip from our sailing: we received a coffee card for our specialty coffee purchases. After purchasing five qualifying coffees, our next one was complimentary. So if you’re a specialty coffee person like me, hang onto that card!

This is exactly what I love about a 7-night cruise. Your sea days give you time to slow down and actually enjoy the ship. Try a new coffee shop. Visit a lounge you haven’t been to yet. Wander around. Sit somewhere and people-watch. Find something you didn’t even know was there.

Sometimes the best memories are the things you didn’t have scheduled. 🤍

If your Disney Cruise is stopping at Castaway Cay, SAVE THIS! 🏝️☀️

Disney’s Castaway Cay is hands down one of my favorite Disney Cruise Line destinations!

I’ve had the opportunity to visit this beautiful island, and there is just something so special about stepping off the ship and spending the day in Disney’s little piece of paradise.

But if this is your first Disney Cruise, there are a few things I think you should know before you go!

From complimentary island transportation and lunch to adults-only beaches and Disney character meet-and-greets, there is so much to enjoy!

And here’s something I always like to remind first-time cruisers. You do NOT have to spend extra money on excursions to have a wonderful day at Castaway Cay!

You can grab a beach chair, enjoy the beautiful water, have lunch, and simply relax.

Sometimes those are the very best Disney days!

One thing I’ve learned at 42 is that taking care of my skin is more important than ever.

As our skin starts to mature, we notice those little fine lines, changes in texture, and sometimes our makeup just doesn’t sit the way it used to.

And I’ve learned that how I prep my skin can make such a difference in how my makeup looks and wears throughout the day.

Good Molecules was sweet enough to send me a few products to try, so I wanted to share my experience!

I tried their Niacinamide Brightening Toner, Hyaluronic Acid Serum, Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel, and Lightweight Daily Moisturizer.

First impressions? Everything felt so smooth going on!

And one thing I really loved was that a little goes a long way. Especially with the eye gel! I probably used twice as much as I actually needed.

I love finding products that feel good on my skin without making my routine complicated.

Did you know decorating your stateroom door is a Disney Cruise tradition? 🎀🚢✨
First things first: it is completely OPTIONAL! You absolutely do not have to decorate your door, but for me, it’s one of those fun little things that makes the cruise feel even more magical.

There are a few rules to remember:
✨ Magnets are the way to go!
✨ No tape, glue, gel adhesives, or anything that could damage the door.
✨ Decorations need to stay on your stateroom door, not the hallway walls or ceiling.
✨ Disney can charge you for damage caused by decorations, so make sure you follow the guidelines!

For my Disney Treasure door, I wanted PINK, girly, and very me! 🎀

My sweet friend Madi from ☻ M.A.D creates! ☻ custom painted my banner and made the adorable Minnie and Daisy pieces. I gave her full creative freedom, and she absolutely brought my vision to life!

My custom magnets came from Dreamlab Creations and they were the perfect finishing touches!

And please go show both of these small businesses some love! They do SO much more than cruise door decorations. They create all kinds of beautiful Disney-inspired pieces!

That’s what I love about decorating your stateroom door. You can make it completely YOUR OWN! Whether it’s your favorite princess, character, holiday, or just something that shows off your personality, have fun with it!

I got so many compliments on my door, and it made me smile every time I walked down that hallway.

SORCERER MICKEY?!

When Jessica told me this print was coming, I LOST IT. I have been patiently… okay, NOT patiently 😂… waiting for this one to drop!

If you know me, you know Sorcerer Mickey is my absolute favorite, so this waffle set was made for me. And I wish you could feel it through the screen! It’s lightweight, SO comfortable, and the quality is so good.

Is it Christmas yet?! 🎄🎀✨

Because I am READY. Christmas will forever be my favorite time of year, and I’m already planning all the outfits I want to wear in the parks this holiday season.

This Very Merry Mockneck from Adored Luxe is going to be such a good one for Florida weather. It’s not so thick that I’m going to be burning up walking around the parks during the day, but it’s still cozy enough for those cooler evenings when the sun goes down.

And I love that it doesn’t have to be just a “Disney outfit.” I can throw it on with jeans at home, dress it up a little, or pack it for a Christmas park day. That kind of versatility is exactly what I want in my closet.

Now I just need Main Street covered in Christmas lights, a little cooler weather, and I’ll be one happy Christmas girlie. 🎄✨
