Tis the season of holiday commissions which means a lot of what I’ve been working on lately I can’t share 🤫

Thankfully, I am able to share this handsome boy with you all. His rich, dark coat had so many colors and his piercing light eyes created the most beautiful contrast. He was a pleasure to draw 💙

Since I’ve gained some new followers in the past month, I figured this would be a good time to reintroduce myself ☺️

Hey 👋🏻 My name is Rachael, I am the owner and artist behind Reverie Pet Portraits. My passion for animals and art has been a guiding force in my life since I was a child. I spent hours after school engrossed in my drawing books, sketching up horses and family pets. That passion has continued throughout my life as I took on various roles in the equine and veterinary industries and eventually took the leap to open my own pet portrait business. Reverie Pet Portraits is named after our farm, Reverie Farm, since both have been a dream of mine since I was a child.
I know the underrated importance of our companions and the immense joy they bring to our lives as well as the sorrow and void they leave when they pass on. My passion for preserving the memory of your best friend is the driving force behind every portrait and I hope you are able to feel that in each and every piece!

Welcome to my page and please feel free to reach out! I am happy to answer any questions 🥰

A sweet friend commissioned this portrait of this gorgeous boy. He was so fun to work on with all the lavenders, blues and greys. This particular commission was done in pastels, which gives a soft, painted look. I had so much fun with this portrait and hope to incorporate more pastels to my commissions in the future!
