🌟A New Chapter for Great Escapes Inman 🌟
After four incredible years, we have some bittersweet news to share: Great Escapes Inman is passing the torch!
When we first opened our doors, we could never have imagined how many amazing people we would have the opportunity to meet. Our small, family owned and operated business has had the privilege of hosting visitors from 36 states, as well as Canada and The Bahamas. From birthday celebrations and date nights to family adventures, team-building events, and everything in between, you have filled our rooms with laughter, excitement, and memories that we will never forget.
To every person who has walked through our doors, supported our small business, recommended us to a friend, left us a review, or simply chose to spend their time with us — thank you. We truly could not have done this without you. ❤️
While it’s hard to say goodbye to something we have poured so much love into, the transition is a little easier knowing who is taking over. We are so excited to welcome our friends at Trapped In the Upstate as the new owners of Great Escapes Inman! If you’ve visited their locations in Greer or Spartanburg, you already know the creativity, passion, and dedication they bring to the escape room community. We have watched them grow alongside us, and we couldn’t think of a better team to carry this adventure forward. We know Great Escapes is in exceedingly capable hands.
We know they are going to do amazing things here in Inman, and we genuinely cannot wait to see what they have in store. We hope you’ll give them the same love and support you’ve given us and continue making memories with them for years to come!
We’re especially excited that they’ll be continuing something we started but didn’t quite get to finish — a third room with a theme that we’ve been dreaming about bringing to life. Knowing that idea will get its chance to become a reality makes this next chapter even more special for us. And don’t worry- Nowhere To Be Found and Man’s Best Friend are sticking around too!
The adventure isn’t over — we’re just passing the keys. 🗝️🔐
With all of this being said, we are temporarily closed for bookings while this transition takes place. Please keep an eye out on Trapped in the Upstate’s social media for updates and opening information.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for making these past four years so special. We are forever grateful for every escape, every laugh, every “WE GOT OUT!” and every memory made along the way.
Here’s to the next chapter! 🥂
With gratitude,
The Great Escapes Inman Team
Tim, Vickie, RJ, and Lauren
