Flashing Lights The Musical

Selling over 3, 000 tickets its first weekend in Los Angeles CBG Arts is helping to stage the production "Flashing Lights" in hopes for a national tour and a trailblazing arrival to Broadway. The show was written and directed by upcoming artist- Brandon Rainey- winner of the CHASE BANK Center Theater Group Fellowship. The show is a modern tale of the American Dream that follows Steven Simmons, a high school student from Chicago, to overcome obstacles and succeed in the music industry. The play embodies the vision and mission of CBG Arts and is one of our vehicles to raise public awareness for itself among young talent in America. CBG Arts can also leverage his opportunity to build its recruiting network, attract more investors, and build it's brand as an organization devoted to helping young people achieve their dreams. The play was first produced as the spring musical of the Fernando Pullum Performing Arts High School and brought 3200 people out to see the show. With a smaller marketing plan and the help from KJLH the show brought about 1700 people out to the live dvd recording. The show is in workshop format because we cant proceed until Mr. West gives final approval for us to continue so we continue to build the brand.
