This has been one of my fave projects since I pushed my limits and made me learn how to create a Feather system (was in my todo list for a while ).

Huge Kudos to the Light team and Jean Baptiste for such a terrific job on the Houdini feather system.

Coachella 2026 — ÆDEN

Had the chance to collaborate with studio on two key pieces for the show: ThunderGodess and Seraphim.

On ThunderGodess, I focused on the body and suit. Packed with micro detail, layered materials, and subtle breakup to hold up under stage lighting and scale. Likeness was crafted by the insanely talented , which gave the whole piece a strong foundation to build on.

Seraphim was a different beast. First time diving deep into a feather system at this level; over 300 eyes integrated across the wings. It pushed everything, from structure to readability in motion. Challenging, but honestly a lot of fun once it started to click.

Big respect to the LightVFX team for bringing the ÆDEN show together. You guys delivered something special.

Just finished the character setup for my upcoming Cinematic Character in UE5 course 🎬

Next up: animation… where everything finally starts to come alive.

This one is aimed at beginner to intermediate artists who want to take their own characters into Unreal Engine 5 and turn them into cinematic shots. I’ll walk you through adapting your characters into a MetaHuman-style pipeline, share a bunch of UE5 tricks, and help you build your own cinematic scene from scratch.

Just plugged back a NEO model I did a while ago into Unreal and pushed it deeper with the MetaHuman shader and post process volumes.

Focused on skin response, subtle roughness breakup, and cleaner subsurface. A few tweaks in exposure and color grading, and the whole character shifted mood. Same mesh, new presence.

This is the 10% that makes it feel alive in real-time.

I’ll be giving a talk at CGI Fest on November 30th about how we brought at Digito Bruce Lee to life as a digital human in Unreal Engine 5.6 using the latest Metahuman tools.

I’ll walk through the full process. From sculpting and grooming to facial rigging, animation, and real-time lookdev in UE.
