Meet the cast of ‘110 Stories’ featuring Bradley!

We asked Bradley, “Why do you feel it’s important to tell these real-life stories today?”

He said, “It’s important to tell these stories for the same reasons people say to never forget 9/11. We should always remember the impact that these events had on the people because it shaped so much of the future after that point. But we should also remember how people came together during the recovery, as there will always be a lesson to be learned from that kind of unity.”

We asked Larry, "Why do you feel it’s important to tell these real-life stories today?"

He said, "As soon as I had a script to read through, I could not put it down. As someone who does a lot of theatre, I could tell that this story was more special than most. It comes from the heartfelt testimonies of real people and is woven together beautifully. It is a story full of emotions, and I hope that we can bring some laughs and a tear to everyone's eye."

We asked John. "What were you doing when you heard the twin towers were struck?"

He said, "I remember that morning on September 11, 2001. Something just seemed off. I remember watching the attack as it was unfolding as a 4th grader at Emerson Elementary School in Indianola with the big black whole in the North tower and CNN replaying the footage of that morning of the first plane coming across the skyline of the city "Lower Manhattan" area and then the plane crashing into the North Tower, never seen anything like that before"

Meet the cast of ‘110 Stories’ featuring Bryce!

We asked Bryce, “Why do you feel it’s important to tell these real-life stories today?”

He said, “sharing these stories really highlights what people actually went through that day and not just what we saw on the TV. It’s not just something to glance over, we’re getting in depth look into the emotions and thoughts that that the people of New York went through. Hearing first responder stories, especially my character of Don Casey, and how different things would have been if him and his battalion were held back a few more minutes, not only for himself but the rest of his crew.”

Meet the cast of ‘110 Stories’ featuring Katie!

We asked Katie, “What is one story, lesson, or memory about 9/11 that has stayed with you?”

She said, “Something that sticks with me is hearing about how everyone came together and helped one another out. Strangers helping strangers. Most people can be selfish and are very independent, so to hear about how people put their differences aside and came together to help each other on a very dark day says a lot about who we are as a society. That even when things seem grim we can be there for one another and lend a helping hand. “

Meet the cast of ‘110 Stories’ featuring Deb!

We asked Deb, “What were you doing when you heard the twin towers were struck?”

She said, “I will never forget that morning. I had dropped my son off at school, where he was a Freshman. I was going about my day when a good friend called me and told me to turn on my TV. I did and couldn’t believe what I was seeing! When I hung up from talking with her, my son called from school to make sure I knew what is happening and that I was okay. Both of those dear people are no longer living. That fact is never lost on me.”

We asked Randy, "What were you doing when you heard the twin towers were struck?"
He said, "I was teaching at Indianola High School. I was making copies and a secretary had a radio on. They announced that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. I went back to my classroom and turned on the TV. Shortly after that a plane flew into to other tower, and we knew it wasn't an accident. When students came into my room later, I told them our world had just changed."
