Simpson College Professor of Theatre, Jennifer Nostrala, is appearing in the Tallgrass Theatre Company production of For Peter Pan on Her 70th Birthday. The show runs April 24-May 10 with performances on Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
Meet the Cast of Sarah Ruhl's "For Peter Pan on her 70th Birthday!" Jennifer Ross Nostrala has been directing and teaching theatre at Simpson College for over 35 years. Last fall she directed Little Shop of Horrors at Simpson Productions. Other recent productions at Simpson include Jen Silverman's The Moors and the localized version of Working: The Musical, Into the Woods, The Medium, The Telephone, Trouble in Tahiti, Gallantry: A Soap Opera and Rebecca Gilman's Twilight Bowl. Some past productions at local theatres include: The Cake, Bright Half Lives, and A Doll’s House at Iowa Stage Theatre Company; Vanya, Sonia, Masha, and Spike, Venus in Fur, and The Shape of Things at StageWest and The Emerald Earring and God of Carnage here at Tallgrass. She is a professor of theatre and Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies program at Simpson College. She lives in Indianola with her husband, Justin, and they have two adult children, Seth and Pierce. She is grateful to be a part of this 11th annual Dream Project.
