Unrelated, here’s a step by step of the Liar Hydrant.

Started it, saw it could be better, restarted.

Lined it with microns.

Colored with prismacolor markers, then went over with prismacolor colored pencils.

Final touches were just darkening any lines that lightened, and adding some white paint for highlights.
