Indiana Performing Arts Initiative Indiana Performing Arts Initiative provides summer musical theatre opportunities for high school and college students to learn in a professional setting.

IPAI is an intensive training program that partners local high school and college performing arts students (actors, production personnel, designers and technicians) with professional actors, directors, choreographers and designers. Indiana Performing Arts Initiative provides a unique "Summer Stock" opportunity for students to work alongside and learn from professional artists currently working in

the field of theatre. A concept that launched in the Summer of 2016 through local non-profit theatre organization - Claude McNeal Productions - IPAI gives performing arts students at multiple high schools and universities the chance to work with and learn from industry professionals. The program utilizes the theatre department faculty and facilities at the acclaimed Indianapolis charter school - Herron High School.
