It is with tremendous joy for him and no small touch of sadness for us that we say our farewells this month to our longtime Resident Dramaturg Richard J Roberts after 36 years of dedicated service to the Theatre and the arts of Indiana. For all of us at the IRT and those he’s worked with beyond, he has been a researcher, editor, director, writer, steward, and friend.

Please join us in wishing Richard a wonderful, happy, fulfilling—and well-deserved!—retirement.

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dan Bradburn, our former IT Manager, and beloved husband of Jane Robison, our retired General Manager.

Dan began his tenure at the IRT in the Scene Shop and worked in various roles at the Theatre for over 30 years. Dan was an Indianapolis native and lifelong resident, and loved spending time with his wife and animals. He loved theatre and the IRT, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and artistic pursuits including painting.

We will always remember Dan as a kind, gentle, and patient man. Rest easy, dear friend.

If you have a fond memory to share about Dan, please do so and we’ll share with Jane.

We're still not over the response to Come From Away! Throughout the run, Maddie O'Neal, Head of Audio & Video, captured photos of the maps posted on the mezzanine, where our very own "Come From Aways" could pin where they're from. By May, we had pins in the map from coast to coast, and not a millimeter left in Indiana. Thank you for joining us, from far and wide!
