And that's a wrap on the Oma Knits Textile Saskie KAL! 🎉🧶

Chairperson Chaos insisted on modeling my finished Saskie for the occasion.

I'm not entirely convinced the Chairperson understands how sweaters work, but I appreciate the effort. 😂

Today is officially the last day of our Saskie KAL, but that does NOT mean you have to be finished today. If you're still happily knitting away on yours, please keep going! A KAL should be encouragement to knit together—not a reason to stress over a finish line.

Keep working at your own pace, keep sharing your Saskie progress, and most importantly, enjoy making your sweater.

I’m happy to share that Oma Knits Textile Co. is now a proud member of Indiana Grown!

Being a small, locally owned yarn shop has always been an important part of who we are. From the yarn I hand-dye right here in Indiana to the classes, craft nights, and conversations that happen around the shop, Oma Knits is very much a homegrown business. 🧶

I’m delighted to add the Indiana Grown sign to our window and to be part of a program that celebrates businesses, makers, and producers from across our state.

Oma Knits Textile Co. will be closed today due to flooding. Unfortunately, the roads between my house and the shop are flooded in multiple places, and most are completely closed.
