Sometimes big cats really are just... big cats... 😅 🐈

Pounce recently celebrated his 15th birthday, and after all the hard work his keepers and volunteers put into his Minecraft-themed party, he decided his favorite treat was everyone's favorite classic: birthday water.

Happy Birthday Pounce!

Today is National Alligator Day! 🐊 💚

American alligators are one of conservation's greatest success stories. Once pushed to the brink of extinction in the 1960s, their population has rebounded to an estimated 5 million thanks to legislative protections, habitat conservation and ongoing research.

Keeper Scarlett shared a look at resident gators Carl, George and Louie enjoying mealtime at the Indianapolis Zoo. These feeding sessions are the result of consistent training and behavior work, including rewarding calm behaviors.

It's not every day you get the chance to pet a rhino!

A big thank you to our friends at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital for the incredible work they do for children and families in our community.
